What to Expect

Welcome to Tanzania, a country of striking landscapes, unparalleled wildlife viewing, and rich cultural experiences. Your journey embarks on Tanzania’s top three natural attractions. Starting with lake Manyara known for its spectacular birdlife to Serengeti National Park one of the renowned national parks in the world, famous for its vast, open plains and the annual Great Migration, ending with Ngorongoro crater, known as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” which offers a unique ecosystem with some of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be warmly greeted by a representative and transferred to a Lodge in Arusha. Spend your evening relaxing and unwinding.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for a short flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic game drive en route to the Lodge. Explore the diverse ecosystems of Lake Manyara National Park, known for its spectacular birdlife, tree-climbing lions, and large elephant populations.

Day 3: Exploring Lake Manyara National Park

Spend a full day in Lake Manyara National Park, participating in morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s compact size makes it ideal for spotting wildlife, including its famous tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and numerous tropical birds. Between drives, relax at the lodge, enjoy the services and amenities available.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, take a short flight to the Serengeti National Park, where you will be staying for the next 2 days. Enjoy game drives across the vast plains of the Serengeti, searching for large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and predators like lions and cheetahs.

Day 5: Discovering Serengeti National Park

Spend another day in the iconic Serengeti National Park. Participate in both morning and afternoon game drives, giving you ample opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife and perhaps catch the Great Migration in action, depending on the season.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, with a game drive en route and a picnic lunch. Check into your Lodge. Relax and enjoy the scenic view of Ngorongoro.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater tour. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to over 25,000 large mammals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hyenas. This natural amphitheater offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in the world. Return to the lodge for dinner and spend your last evening enjoying the panoramic sunset views over the crater.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Kilimanjaro Airport

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before being transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Reflect on the memories of a lifetime exploring the wild beauty of Tanzania’s top destinations.
