Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Kigali. Embark on a guided city tour featuring key cultural sites including the Rwanda Art Museum, the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial, and the vibrant art galleries. Depending on your interests, you can also choose to visit the Museum for the Campaign against Genocide, a local fashion house, or a bustling market. Enjoy lunch followed by a journey to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. Take a brief stop en route for refreshments. Arrive in the evening to check in and dinner at your lodge.
Rise early for breakfast at your lodge before heading to the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla trekking. Transfer to the trailhead to begin your guided exploration. After meeting the mountain gorillas, return to the lodge to freshen up and lunch. In the afternoon you may choose to go to Gorilla Guardians Village to learn about local culture and traditions or simply a walk through the nearby villages, an opportunity to meet and interact with locals. This morning you will check out and drive back to Kigali. Arrive in time for an early lunch. Afterwards, proceed to Kigali International Airport, check in for your flight.
