What to Expect

Take a journey through Uganda’s renowned parks, offering full days of wildlife exploration and cultural insights. This experience feature Murchison falls for rough water and wildlife encounter during game drives. Visit Kibare National Park as a paradise of chimpanzees and best crater lake views. It also includes a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife encounter and boat cruise at Kazinga channel and it ends with trekking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to witness the mighty mountain gorillas.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Kampala. Spend your first day relaxing and enjoying the luxurious amenities of the hotel.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour

Explore Kampala with a guided city tour that includes visits to the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi Tombs, and the National Theatre. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart Kampala after breakfast and travel to Murchison Falls National Park. Stop en route at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a chance to see rhinos in the wild. Upon arrival in Murchison Falls, check into your Lodge. Relax in the evening with dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Explore Murchison Falls National Park

Enjoy a day of wildlife viewing in Murchison Falls National Park with a morning game drive. In the afternoon, take a launch cruise on the Nile to see hippos, crocodiles, and the powerful Murchison Falls up close.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park

Spend another full day in the park with options for additional game drives or a hike to the top of Murchison Falls for breathtaking views.

Day 6: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

Travel from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park. Check into your Lodge for a relaxing evening surrounded by the lush forest.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

Embark on an early morning chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its primate population. Spend the afternoon at leisure at the Lodge.

Day 8: Explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

Visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk to see diverse birdlife and primates. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check into your Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive or relax at the lodge.

Day 10: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park

Take a morning game drive in the park, and in the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large concentrations of hippos and numerous bird species.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, check into your Lodge, Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Spend the day trekking in the lush forest in search of one of the gorilla families. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Cultural Tour in Bwindi

Engage with the local Batwa community in a cultural tour to learn about their traditional forest life and customs. This enriching experience highlights the cultural diversity of Uganda. Return to the Lodge for your final night.

 

Day 14: Bwindi to Entebbe and Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight back to Entebbe. Depending on your departure flight schedule, you might have some time to relax before heading to the airport for your international flight.
