Arrival and 1 night stay at Entebbe, next day you catch your flight to a local Airstrip near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will stay for 3 night at one of premium lodges with twice trekking to the home of mountain gorillas. Have a visit to the nearby villages to learn about local culture. Fly back to Entebbe for your departing flight.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Kampala. Spend the afternoon relaxing after your flight, perhaps exploring the nearby Lake Victoria shores.
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer back to Entebbe Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your lodge. Settle into your room and enjoy lunch followed by a leisurely afternoon in the serene surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Spend the next two days experiencing one of the most unique wildlife encounters in the world—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. After an early breakfast each day, you will join a guided group and embark on a trek through the lush rainforest to find one of the gorilla families. Trekking can take anywhere from a few hours to a whole day depending on the gorilla’s movements. After your trek, return to the lodge for relaxation, meals, and overnight stays.
After breakfast, check out from the Lodge and transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, also known as the Entebbe Zoo, to see a variety of native wildlife species. After the visit, enjoy a leisurely lunch in a local restaurant before transferring to Entebbe International Airport in time for your outbound flight, marking the end of your Ugandan adventure.
